Fugue Theatre is eagerly seeks youths and young adults to be a part of production related roles for our programs. Please email us for more information.
Fugue Theatre has created a Youth and Adult Mentorship Program to aid those from less-advantaged communities to develop an appreciation for the performing arts. We believe that the adolescent and young adult years are the most crucial in establishing positive attitudes towards becoming fully-actualised adults. Our Youth and Adult Mentorship Program is geared to building on the usefulness and enfranchisement of the pre-adult.
We contact several schools and outreach programs and work closely with teachers, co-ordinators and candidates. Anywhere from 1-6 candidates are selected in a work placement setting during production. They attend rehearsals and help with various tasks, guided by a professional. The professionals are usually the director, stage manager or producer.
