Submissions
Writers and Directors
Please read about our organization’s mandate and goals before making your submission. It is important that written and directed material align well with our mandate.
Please note that Fugue Theatre commissions new works, not works that have already been written or produced.
Librettists
Please submit 2 samples of no more than 15 pages of libretto. Also, please submit a cover letter and resume, preferably in PDF format.
Also, please submit your story idea as a one-page treatment. The samples above should not be your story idea.
Composers
Please submit 2 contrasting score samples in PDF written for voice of not more than 3 pages each and 2 midi files, which contain vocal segments of not longer than 2 minutes each. Also, please include a cover letter and resume.
Also, please submit your compositional idea. The samples above should not be your proposed idea.
Stage Directors and Musical Directors
Please submit a recent resume and a cover letter outlining your reasons of interest in working with Fugue Theatre.
Performers
We will have specific auditions posted at a time that is closer to production. Please check back.
While we appreciate all submissions, we will contact only those who are to receive an interview.
